Thank you for joining me and the Daniela Conte Foundation to Go Gold for Childhood Cancer Awareness Month.
ποΈ GO GOLD FOR CHILDHOOD CANCER AWARENESS ποΈ For the month of September, National Childhood Cancer Awareness Month, we are encouraging people to swap out our regular shoelaces with a pair of gold ones.
Wearing gold laces is a small, yet impactful act of support that sparks conversations and spreads awareness. Every time someone ties their laces, they send a small message of hope, love, and encouragement to children battling cancer.
A donation of any amount will receive a pair of gold shoelaces. 100% of the funds raised will go directly towards providing financial support to families of children battling cancer.
π ABOUT DANIELA CONTE FOUNDATION π The Daniela Conte Foundation is a 501(c)(3) not-for-profit organization founded in memory of 8-year-old Daniela. Daniela fought Embryonal Rhabdomyosarcoma (ERMS) courageously for 3 Β½ years and beat it three times before it came back for the fourth time. She passed away peacefully in March 2020.
They provide financial support to local NYC and Long Island families of pediatric cancer patients and fund research for less-toxic treatment options, specifically for Rhabdomyosarcoma.
DCF is a 100% volunteer organization, so $0.95 cents out of every dollar donated and fundraised goes directly to research and to local childhood cancer families.
Please reach out to me if you're interested in a pair of gold shoelaces, or if you have any questions.
